Record Five Recipients Awarded JLY Sustainer Youth Volunteer Award

Five 2013 Junior League of York Sustainer Volunteer Scholarship Awards were presented at the Junior League of York Annual Meeting on Tuesday, May 14.

Each spring, the Junior League of York Sustainers award a $500 scholarship(s) to young women who are graduating York County High School Seniors who have demonstrated an exceptional dedication to voluntarism.

The Junior League is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.
