The Junior League of York is an organization of women dedicated to promoting voluntarism and improving York County through effective action and leadership of skilled volunteers. With more than 150 members, we are community actives proudly contributing more than 1.4 million dollars and thousands of volunteer hours to the York community for over 80 years.
Addressing the needs of York since 1930, we are the driving force behind identifying areas of concern and initiating projects that make our community stronger. Over the years we have tackled many social issues and through the funding and volunteers of the League, 100 community programs have benefited.
We are a social organization providing our members with opportunities through the year to meet women with varied backgrounds and skills who share a commitment to volunteerism and improving the community. We reach out to women of all races, religions and national origins who demonstrate an interest in and commitment to voluntarism.
We are truly international as one of the 293 Junior Leagues located across The U.K., Canada, Mexico and the United States that belong to the Association of Junior Leagues International.
