About Junior League of York   

 

Since 1930, the Junior League of York has been an innovative, dynamic women’s organization of trained volunteers dedicated to improving our ever-changing community, promoting voluntarism and developing leadership. With more than 200 members, the Junior League of York continues to make significant contributions to the community through diverse fundraising and volunteer efforts.

The Junior League of York is one of nearly 300 Junior Leagues located across Great Britain, Mexico and the United States that belong to the Association of Junior Leagues International. Mission Statement

The Junior League of York is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

Vision Statement

We are dedicated to strengthening the women of the Junior League of York by encouraging diversity and expanding membership service. We also strengthen our community by building program and partnerships through mentoring, education, volunteer efforts and resources.
