Thrift Shop

The League’s longest running and most valuable community service, the Junior League of York Thrift Shop is a quality consignment shop located in the heart of historic York. It provides low-cost clothing, shoes and accessories for men, women and children, as well as a variety of household items to the value-conscious shopper. Two new areas have been added to the Shop to satisfy customer needs. A Nifty Thrifty corner has merchandise that is $1 an item, while the Upscale Alley features designer brand clothing and accessories.

Become a Donor
Gently worn or used items may be dropped off at the Thrift Shop, and in some instances, the donor may take a tax credit on the next filing.

Become a Consignor
Register at the Thrift Shop to become a consignor. A life-time account costs $5 and entitles consignors to receive cash back with the sale of their consigned items. Some restrictions apply. Contact the Thrift Shop manager for details.

Consignments and donations may be taken to the Thrift Shop before 2 p.m. Monday through Friday and before 12 p.m. Saturday.

Become a shopper
Bargains abound…come and find your treasure. And watch for the window displays of the “Clean Sweep” annual bag sales in March and August. You can fill a bag for only $2.
