The Junior League Thrift Shop opened in 1952 and has been located at the corner of West Market St. and South Pershing Avenue in downtown York since 1962. The shop accepts donated and consigned clothing and household goods. Shop proceeds are donated back to the community in the form of Junior League grants and projects. The Thrift Shop provides a community service by selling quality, gently used and new goods, at reasonable prices.
The Junior League Thrift Shop is located at 166 W. Market Street in York (on the corner of Market Street and Pershing Ave.). On-street parking is available near the shop. Phone: (717) 843-7692.
The shop is open Monday-Saturday 10:00 am-3:00 pm. The shop is also periodically open for First Fridays and special events; follow us on Facebook or Instagram for more details.
Donations of women’s, men’s, and children’s clothing, as well as small household goods are accepted at the Thrift Shop during regular business hours. Tax receipts are available.
Consignment merchandise is accepted seasonally. There is a $5.00 consignor fee per season. Consignments are accepted during normal business hours; no appointment is necessary.
Quality merchandise is available in the Thrift Shop for a reasonable cost. Be sure to check out the “Nifty Thrifty Corner”, where all items are 50 cents. Annual clearance events are held twice annually (Fall and Spring) and involve a week of discounts as well as the $1.00 fill-a-bag sale.
